VOTER INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR CANDIDATES

THE POLK COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE CAN PROVIDE INFORMATION TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR CAMPAIGN.  HERE'S WHAT'S AVAILABLE:

1. VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Currently, there are over 400,000 active voters in Polk County.  You may select voters from this group by the following criteria:

  1. Precinct
  2. Party
  3. Gender
  4. Race
  5. Age group
  6. Inside or Outside of the City Limits
  7. Votes in past elections

Or any combination of the above criteria, (i.e., Auburndale city precincts, Libertarian, Males between the ages of 20 and 40, who voted 11/04/2008.)

NEW! - We now have an online form you can use to submit your voter data requests! Go ahead and try it by clicking here.

2. MAIL IN BALLOT REQUEST INFORMATION:

* - Requires a signed acquisition oath according to F.S. 101.62(3) and can only be requested by:

     -- A canvassing board
     -- An election official
-- A political party or official thereof
-- A candidate who has filed qualification papers and is opposed in an upcoming election
     -- Registered political committees
-- Registered committees of continuous existence

We can print mailing labels or create a file containing every voter who has requested an mail in ballot ballot for a specified election. We print these based on the date of the mail in ballot request, then we will print updates for the candidates as new requests come in.

3. WALK LISTS:

Voters can be printed on a walk list by selected precincts. These lists are sorted alphabetically by street name, then ascending order by house number. These walk lists have been useful to candidates who are planning to walk door-to-door. We can also select voters who have voted in certain elections.

4. PETITION INFORMATION:

You may request data based on voters who have signed certain petitions. Petitions are signed to allow candidates to qualify for candidacy or for ballot initiatives. For instance, you may request all voters who have signed candidates’ petitions, or those who have signed “Save Our Everglades” petitions.
